Growing Together: Reflections and Excitement for 2026

When I started Taylor's Field back in 2022, I had a simple dream: grow beautiful flowers and share them with my community. What I didn't expect was how much I would grow along the way — and how many incredible people would become part of this journey.

From Seedling to Full Bloom

Those first rows of zinnias felt like such a leap of faith. Would anyone want locally-grown flowers? Would the hot Arkansas summers cooperate? Would I even remember to water everything? (Spoiler: I did forget once. The sunflowers forgave me.)

But something magical happened at our first farmers market. A woman stopped by, picked up a bouquet of dahlias, and told me they reminded her of her grandmother's garden. She came back every single week that summer. Then she told her sister. And her neighbor. And suddenly, Taylor's Field wasn't just my little flower farm anymore — it belonged to all of us.

The Faces Behind the Flowers

That's the thing about flowers: they connect people. I've met brides planning their perfect day, families celebrating new babies, and friends just wanting to brighten someone's week. Each bouquet carries a story, and I feel so honored to be a small part of so many of yours.

To everyone who's stopped by our market booth, chatted about what's blooming, and left with an armful of stems — you've made those early Saturday mornings worth every bit of lost sleep.

What's Growing in 2026

This year, we're dreaming bigger. Here's what we're excited about:

More Variety — We've added new dahlia varieties (the dinner plate ones everyone asks about!), more fragrant sweet peas, and some experimental lisianthus that I'm cautiously optimistic about.

Expanded CSA — We're opening up more subscription spots this season. If you've been on the fence, now's the time!

Workshops — We're launching Evening in the Garden events this year! Imagine arranging your own bouquet while the sun sets over the field. Keep an eye on our events page for dates.

The Bloom Bar — Still in the works, but we're getting closer to bringing a mobile flower experience to your events. Stay tuned!

Here's to You

As I sit here planning seed orders and mapping out beds, I keep coming back to one thought: none of this happens without you.

Every stem I plant this spring will eventually find its way to someone's kitchen table, someone's bedside, someone's front porch. That connection — field to vase, farmer to friend — is why I do this.

Thank you for growing with us. Here's to a beautiful 2026.

With gratitude (and dirt under my fingernails),

Lauren
